Wow!  What a Cabin.  Lil’ Cub Lookout Provides a Grand View of the Smoky Mountains.

Lil’ Cub Lookout is ten minutes from Pigeon Forge going toward the National Park and Cades Cove, in sought after Wears Valley.  Lil’ Cub Lookout is a beautiful new three level, three bedroom cabin completed in 2007.

The cabin has tongue and groove walls and ceailings throughout with wide plank wood flooring and a hand hewn log staircase leading up to a full-bath and a  loft bedroom that overlooks the living room and kitchen below.  The main level has a stacked stone gas fireplace, living room, kitchen and a huge master suite with a rock waterfall jacuzzi tub in the master bath.

Downstairs, enjoy a game of pool or relax by the cabin’s other stacked stone fireplace. Or, better yet, sit out on the spacious deck and enjoy the view.  The “kids” room with bunks and a futon and a half  bath  is also downstairs.

Driving Directions:  Travel North on I-75 and take exit #81. Go right traveling through Lenoir City towards Maryville.  This will be Highway 321.  Continue on Highway 321 east across the dam through Maryville to Townsend. After passing through Townsend, you will come to a stoplight where 321 makes a left turn.  Turn left at that stoplight (signs will say “To Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg”) and continue on 321/Wears Valley Rd. for approximately 5 miles, passing into Sevier County.  Turn left on Happy Hollow Rd.  After being on Happy Hollow for about 3/10ths of a mile, the road forks, but bear to the left and you will wind up the hill passing the Teaberry Mountain sign. You’ll pass under an overpass.  After traveling one mile on Happy Hollow Rd. watch for a sign to the High Pointe community.  Turn right at the High Pointe sign and travel up the hill and Lil’ Cub Lookout will be on your right.  It’s the only cabin in High Point with a red roof.
